I taught math and science for 25 years to children from the 7th through the 12th grade at two schools: Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York City and the Dwight-Englewood School in Englewood, New Jersey. I am currently “semi-retired”, working on art (including watercolor sketches for the greeting cards mentioned above) and on repairing my long-neglected house.

I did all the writing and almost all the artwork for this book and developed many new activities in an attempt to make the activities as relevant as possible. In retrospect, despite all the ups and downs along the way, I had a wonderful time writing this book!
